Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how COMPANY NAME (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://itsmazic.com/ (the ‘Site’), why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. They let the site remember your actions and preferences, measure how it is used, and, in some cases, show you relevant ads. ‘Similar technologies’ include local and session storage, pixels, web beacons, tags, software development kits, and scripts that read device or browser characteristics. We refer to all of them as cookies in this policy. ‘First-party’ cookies are set by us; ‘third-party’ cookies are set by other organizations whose services we use. ‘Session’ cookies expire when you close your browser; ‘persistent’ cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

2. The laws we follow

We set out to meet the cookie and tracking rules that apply to the visitors we serve, including the EU ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)) and GDPR, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, US state privacy laws such as the California CCPA/CPRA, Canada’s PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25, Brazil’s LGPD, Australia’s Privacy Act 1988, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The common thread is that we tell you what we use and, where the law requires, ask for your consent before setting anything that is not strictly necessary.

3. The cookies we use

CategoryPurposeConsent needed?
Strictly necessaryKeep the Site secure and working: load balancing, security and fraud prevention, form submission, shopping cart, and remembering your cookie choiceNo

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off in our cookie settings, because the Site would not work without them. We never use them for marketing.

4. Specific cookies and providers

The exact cookies depend on which tools are active on the Site at any time, so the live list in our cookie settings is the most accurate. Typical examples are:

Cookie or storageProviderCategoryPurposeTypical duration
WordPress and login cookiesSiteStrictly necessaryKeep sessions and logins workingSession to 14 days

A cookie appears in this list only if the matching tool is in use on the Site.

5. Third-party cookies and partners

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use, such as analytics, session replay, embedded video and maps, chat and scheduling tools, payment providers, and advertising networks. We do not control these cookies, and the providers may use the data for their own purposes under their own policies. Where we can, we use privacy-enhanced modes, for example loading embedded video only after you agree. Depending on what is active, providers may include Google, Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Vimeo, and payment providers such as Stripe or Razorpay.

6. Consent and your choices

  • Cookie banner. When you first visit, we show a banner that lets you accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category, with the options equally easy to use. We do not use pre-ticked boxes, and we do not make access to the Site depend on accepting non-essential cookies, except where a service cannot work without them.
  • Change your mind. Use the ‘Cookie settings’ link in the footer at any time to review or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect cookies set before it, and the cookies are removed or stop being used from then on.
  • How often we ask. We remember your choice for up to 12 months, or until you clear your cookies, and ask again if our cookies change materially.
  • Consent record. To prove and respect your choice, we store a record of it (your choice, the date and time, and the banner version) and treat it as strictly necessary.
  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or warn you before one is set. See your browser’s help pages to do so. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.
  • Opt-out tools. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and of much interest-based advertising through YourAdChoices, the Digital Advertising Alliance, or Your Online Choices.
  • Mobile and other devices. On phones and tablets you can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in your device settings.

7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Where the law requires, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser. Because there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, we do not currently respond to them unless the law requires it.

8. US state privacy rights

Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws can opt out of ‘sale’, ‘sharing’, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. Some marketing and analytics cookies may count as these under state law. You can opt out through the ‘Cookie settings’ or ‘Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information’ link in the footer, through a GPC signal, or by emailing dipanshu@itsmazic.com. Our Privacy Policy explains your other rights.

9. Legal basis

We set strictly necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a secure and working Site, and because the law exempts them from consent. We set all other cookies only with your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interests where the law allows. Where the DPDP Act applies, we rely on your consent or a legitimate use the Act permits.

10. Data collected and transfers

Cookies may collect your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, and a unique identifier. Some providers process this data outside your country. Where required, we rely on the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last for the period shown above, which we keep as short as practicable and, for analytics and advertising cookies in the EU and UK, not longer than 13 months unless you renew your consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our cookies, partners, or the law change. The effective date above shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will update the cookie banner and ask for consent again where needed.
